Situation To design a one day programme that was run over a twelve month period. This project was devised to invite participants to consider, their thinking and practice in dealing with diversity and equality issues in the workplace. Solution After a series of visits to the workplace a core group of real life experiences were written and rehearsed. They were duly enacted to each set of participants over a twelve month period to create recognition and solutions to mainstream occurrences. This was a very safe space for all attendees to tackle emotive topics. Result This programme successfully tackled difficult areas of behaviour in the workplace and altered workers perceptions, added value and understanding for empathy and broke down the barriers caused by stigmatisation. |
